Theater Amaya

Located at Paseo del General Martínez Campos 9, Teatro Amaya opened in 1952 as Cine Amaya, operating as a cinema until 2003, when it was acquired by actor Moncho Borrajo and director Alberto Blasco, who led the renovation of the building and transformed it into a theatre.
Over more than 20 years of history, it has hosted theatre productions, zarzuela and dance performances, musicals, and family entertainment shows such as The Play That Goes Wrong, establishing itself as one of Madrid’s leading theatres.
The venue has a total of 678 seats, distributed as follows:
- Stalls: 424 seats
- First Floor (Club): 238 seats
- Boxes: 16 seats
In July 2026, ATG Entertainment took over ownership, management, and programming of the venue, carrying out a refurbishment project to update and modernise its facilities.
Teatro Amaya features a large stage and a capacity of more than 650 seats, as well as its own café facilities. It offers all the necessary accessibility features to ensure that everyone can enjoy our venue, including ramps with direct access to the stalls.
Its exceptional technical facilities allow for the presentation of high-quality productions.
